John M. Jorgensen

  John M. Jorgensen received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1977 from the University of Florida. He continued his education at the University of Florida School of Law and earned his Juris Doctor in 1982.

  Mr. Jorgensen joined Scott/Harris in 1982 and became a shareholder in 1992. He is experienced in civil litigation, with emphasis on disputes involving commercial banking and real property transactions, title insurance claims, land use litigation and zoning appeals. Mr. Jorgensen's areas of practice also include representation of creditors in both state and bankruptcy courts, mechanic's lien litigation and appellate practice. He is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association. He has served as president of the North County Section of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and sits on the Board of Directors. Mr. Jorgensen was appointed to the Palm Beach County Land Use Advisory Board and was a member of the Gold Coast Builders Association where he served on the Governmental Affairs Committee
